IELTS Focus consists of 20 hours per week dedicated to enhancing students’ English skills while also preparing them for the IELTS exam through the development of effective exam techniques. The course is structured with approximately 50% focused on General English and 50% on Exam Preparation, allowing students to build a solid foundation in language skills while familiarizing themselves with the exam format.

Throughout the course, students will practice different sections of the exam, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking, ensuring they are well-prepared for each component. Additionally, a minimum level of English is required to enroll in this course, and students must complete an online level test to be confirmed for participation. This structured approach not only boosts language proficiency but also instills the confidence needed to excel in the IELTS exam, setting students on a path to achieving their academic and professional goals.

FCE Focus

FCE Focus, available for Upper-Intermediate (B2) level students, combines 10 hours per week of Real World English classes with 10 hours per week of focused FCE exam preparation.

This balanced programme allows students to develop their overall English language proficiency in a dynamic general English class while also receiving targeted support for every component of the B2 First exam. The exam preparation classes focus on developing the skills and strategies needed for success in the exam, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, and use of English.

Students benefit from the combination of a larger general English class, where they can improve fluency and confidence, and a smaller exam preparation class, where they receive more personalised guidance and focused feedback.

Throughout the program, students will engage in targeted exercises and mock exams to build their confidence and familiarity with the exam format. This structured approach not only enhances their language proficiency but also equips them with effective strategies for tackling each component of the FCE, ultimately helping them achieve their desired results and further their academic and professional aspirations.

CAE Focus

CAE Focus, available for Advanced (C1) level students, combines 10 hours per week of Real World English classes with 10 hours per week of focused CAE exam preparation.

The programme is designed to help students strengthen their overall English language skills while preparing thoroughly for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam. Exam preparation classes provide intensive practice in all areas of the exam, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, and use of English, with a strong emphasis on exam techniques and performance.

Students enjoy the advantages of learning in a larger general English environment while benefiting from the personalised attention and targeted exam practice offered in smaller preparation classes. Regular practice activities, exam-focused exercises, and mock exam tasks help build confidence and maximise exam success.

Additionally, personalised feedback will be provided throughout the course, helping students identify areas for improvement and refine their exam strategies. This comprehensive approach not only enhances their language proficiency but also builds the confidence needed to excel in the CAE, paving the way for future academic and professional success.
