Apollo is the first language school in Ireland to be inducted into the StudyTravel Super Star Hall of Fame after winning the ‘Star Junior Programme for under 18s’ award for five years in a row in 2018, 2019, 2020/2021, 2022 and again in 2023. We also won the ‘Star New School’ Award in 2019 as well as winning in the ‘English Language School – Europe’ category twice in 2022 and 2023.

University College Cork

University College Cork, an 1845 University situated on the south coast in Ireland’s second largest city, is situated on 44 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds retaining its original school buildings as well as new modern buildings, accommodation and leisure facilities.

The campus is ideally located just 15 minutes’ walk from Cork city centre and 2.5 hours’ drive from Dublin. There is an excellent sports complex on the campus with tennis courts, climbing wall, indoor and outdoor running tracks, dance & spin studios and extensive outdoor football/hockey pitches.

Accommodation

Accommodation for Apollo students is located in single bedrooms with a private bathroom for each student *. The residential accommodation chosen by Apollo on the campus is in modern apartments with 4-6 students sharing a comfortable apartment.

*In the Cork residence, the location of the private bathroom for one bedroom per
apartment is outside of the room but located right beside the bedroom.

15 hours’ tuition
per week

15 hours’ tuition per week (1 hour = 60 minutes) following a zig-zag timetable of both morning and afternoon mixed nationality classes (max. 15 per class).

Apollo Focus

Apollo Focus: 9 hours’ optional extra tuition per week (over 3 days) completely free of charge in addition to 15 hour programme. The focus of the lessons is on project work and communication and students can choose the Apollo Focus option when with us at the school instead of regular activities.
